Please can we have GI values for UK products?

We post the GI values supplied to us by accredited GI testing labs, published in peer reviewed journals or by manufacturers whose products have been tested independently following the standardised procedure. Sadly UK manufacturers don't seem to be as proactive in getting products tested as Australian and Canadian companies. Maybe a little consumer action is needed!

The 3rd edition of the International Tables of GI Values will be published in Diabetes Care soon and hopefully there'll be UK GI values for us to make available to GI News readers.
